A simple test for Welder Qualification may involve the following steps:

·         Obtain the appropriate welding supplies and metal pieces to be welded

·         Set the welding parameters on the welding machine

·         Prepare and assemble the joint to be welded

·         Place the weld in the proper welding position

·         Follow the indicated procedure to fill the joint with weld

·         Prepare or help prepare the specimens to be tested

Prerequisite

This course does not detail the requirements of ISO 9001. Prior knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard, such as the overview provided in CQC’s ‘Introduction to a QMS’ course or previous work with ISO 9001 in an organization, is strongly recommended as a prerequisite for this course.
